Editor’s Note：On August 14, 2026, local time, the Brazil Station Final of the “China-Latin America Youth Responding to Global Challenges — 2026 Poverty Alleviation Challenge” concluded. The China-Peru joint team “Raíces,” consisting of one Peruvian youth and four Chinese youth, won the championship. Based in the Las Bambas community of the Apurímac Region in Peru, the project leverages the wild edible mushroom and timber industrial chains as entry points to propose a plan that promotes community income growth, expands female employment, and alleviates youth outflow.
