Editor's Note: During their study tour and practice in China, the winning Chilean youth team of the 2025 Poverty Alleviation Challenge visited Gaochun in Jiangsu Province, toured the Gaochun Ceramic Museum and the "Ceramic Town", and carried out on-site learning on the historical inheritance and contemporary expression of Chinese ceramic culture. By closely understanding the cultural connotation of the "State Banquet Porcelain", ceramic making techniques, and the practical exploration of the integration of culture and tourism with study tour experience, they have an intuitive understanding of the practical path of China's excellent traditional culture in upholding integrity and fostering innovation, providing a vivid case for cultural study and exchange between Chinese and Latin American youth. Original Title: Gaochun Ceramic Museum: The Millennium Kiln Fire Illuminates Rural Revitalization

(Translation) The Gaochun Ceramic Museum is located in Gaochun District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. Stepping into the museum, history seems to be reawakened. The museum houses more than 10,000 ceramic works, systematically presenting the development context of ceramic art.

As an important cultural card of China, ceramic art is fully reflected in the Gaochun "State Banquet Porcelain". These works not only feature exquisite craftsmanship and elegant shapes, but also contain profound Chinese cultural connotations. Gaochun ceramics have appeared frequently at important international events such as the APEC Summit in Beijing, the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, and the World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit. Integrating multicultural elements according to the theme, content and host region of different conferences, it spreads Chinese culture to the world with ceramics as the carrier, making "State Banquet Porcelain" gradually become a distinctive card of Gaochun.

Since its official opening in 2018, the Gaochun Ceramic Museum has actively developed industrial tourism and successfully built a "Ceramic Town" integrating display, experience and inheritance. Tourists can not only gain an in-depth understanding of the inheritance and development of Chinese ceramic culture in Gaochun, but also watch the ceramic making process up close and participate in cultural and creative activities such as traditional pottery making, porcelain painting, 3D modeling and printing. The museum has been rated as a National Third-Class Museum, and the "Ceramic Town" has also been awarded the Best Tourism Town for the Integration of Culture and Tourism in the Yangtze River Delta region, receiving about 150,000 tourists annually.
