An international perspective is a unique one that is rarely accessible during the process of studying. The China - Latin America Youth Camp project, relying on the existing platforms of schools, enables students involved to enhance their international perspectives implicitly during the project implementation. This is achieved through the interaction and integration among different platforms, as well as the communication and cooperation between students and local members in the team.

This year, our project team consists of three members from Tsinghua University and two from the University of Chile. The project proposes a solution that leverages the high solar irradiance resources in the local area to provide clean electricity, which is used to centrally purify the water resources collected in the community. This solution combines the local existing water - collection equipment with China's advanced new - energy and water - purification technologies. By integrating the two sets of solutions, it aims to offer a community - based solution to the local problem of drinking water shortage with low cost and long - term effectiveness.

Meanwhile, due to the shortage of essential living resources in the local communities, the long distances and deep isolation between communities, there is poor information flow, and the local people lack awareness of basic external information and access to opportunities. Therefore, in the project planning, we have incorporated the local base - station resources and the relatively mature display solutions at the present stage. The goal is to build a cultural community for local information communication and exchange based on the layout of containers in the existing solutions.

After several rounds of refinement and promotion, this project has received unanimous praise from professors at the University of Chile, as well as local power grid and telecommunications companies. Currently, the project is in the stage of in - depth scenario research and solution - matching optimization. We believe that through the continuous and in - depth connection between platforms, as well as the continuous cooperation among local schools, NGOs, and domestic technical teams, the project can be successfully implemented and bring the application dividends of clean energy to the local area.
