In accordance with relevant arrangements specified in the 2026 Poverty Alleviation Challenge Mentor Meeting Handbook, after mentoring and written review conducted by 120 professional mentors from China and Latin America, the selection of teams shortlisted for the PreliminayRound of the China-Latin America Youth Responding to Global Challenges-2026 Poverty Alleviation Challenge has been finalized.
A total of 93 teams submitted question lists during the mentoring phase. After professional assessment via online video tutoring and written feedback on submitted lists from mentors, 89 teams have qualified for the preliminary round. The preliminary competition will be hosted in the division corresponding to each team captain’s home country; all participants are advised to monitor incoming emails regularly for updates.
