Prof. Chen Taotao, Director of Tsinghua University Latin America Center, met with Professor Ignacio Sánchez Díaz, President of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (UC Chile), in Santiago on the morning of December 6. Prof. Lilian Ferrer, Vice President of the university, was also present at the meeting.

        Prof. Chen conveyed her appreciation to UC Chile for hosting three student overseas practice teams from Tsinghua University during the summer vocation. She also expressed gratitude for their forthcoming reception of a delegation of professors from Tsinghua University's School of Life Sciences and School of Medicine, scheduled to arrive early next week. Prof. Chen highlighted Mr. Sánchez's previous visit to Tsinghua University in 2019 and the potential visit of Tsinghua's university leaders to UC Chile in the coming year. Mr. Sánchez warmly welcomed the idea and stressed the importance of mutual visits in promoting extensive communication and cooperation.
