Prof. Chen Taotao, Director of Tsinghua University Latin America Center, had a meeting with Dr. Alicia Salomone, Director of International Relations Office at the University of Chile, in the President's Office of the University of Chile on the morning of December 1, according to Santiago local time.

      The two parties explored ways to enhance collaboration in online education, facilitate student exchanges, support Tsinghua University's international admissions in Chile, encourage English-taught research and practice at the University of Chile, and coordinate the visit arrangements for professors from the School of Life Sciences and School of Medicine, Tsinghua University.

      The meeting was also attended by Prof. Cecilia Saint-Pierre (Director of Online Education Office), Prof. Luis Vargas (Head of External Affairs Office at Faculty of Physics and Mathematical Sciences), Prof. Dorotea López (Director of Institute of International Studies), Prof. Andrés Bórquez (Asian Studies Program Coordinator at Institute of International Studies), Dr. Inmaculada Vaca (Director of Innovation, Development, and External Affairs Office at Faculty of Sciences), Prof. Aude Argouse (Director of External Affairs Office at the Faculty of Law), Osvaldo Guzmán (Coordinator of the Student Exchange Program) from the University of Chile, as well as Dr. Peng Ruimei, Assistant Director of Tsinghua University Latin America Center, and Prof. Chen Taotao's doctoral student Hong Binhan.
