Introduction of Youth Challenge

“China-Latin America 2024 Youth Challenge to Alleviate Poverty” combines the forms of competition activities and course, dedicated to cultivating students global competence, leadership, creativity and teamwork ability. With the poverty alleviation as the theme, students can freely choose different directions according to their interests, and are encouraged to form interdisciplinary innovation teams to investigate global best practices, disseminate and apply corresponding solutions, or develop innovative solutions in the related fields.


In November 20, 2024, Chinese President Xi Jinping made a state visit to Brazil and two sides signed 38 cooperation agreements. And No.35 Agreement Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Tsinghua University and the University Federal of Rio de Janeiro for the China-Latin America Youth Responding to Global Challenges Program.
