Media Focus | From a "Hollow Village" to a "Happiness Circle": Service Resilience and Spatial Renovation of Cili Village
Editor's Note: During the study tour and practice in China of the winning teams of the 2025 Poverty Alleviation Challenge, the Peruvian team came to Cili County in Hunan Province to experience the vivid practice of rural governance and people's livelihood improvement, and feel the development achievements of transforming the former "hollow village" into a fully functional and conveniently serviced "happiness circle" by improving public service facilities and promoting grassroots governance innovation. In practice, Chinese and Latin American youth have conducted in-depth learning and discussion on China's experience in advancing poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, as well as practical measures centered on improving people's livelihood and enhancing community cohesion. Media Focus | Gaochun Museum: A New Chapter Painted by the Integration of Ancient and Modern Times
Editor's Note: During the study tour and practice in China of the winning teams of the 2025 Poverty Alleviation Challenge, the Chilean team visited the Gaochun Museum and experienced its rich collection characteristics and the achievements of digital construction. The Gaochun Museum plays an important role in cultural relic collection, exhibition and research, and public education, demonstrating Gaochun's active exploration in protecting and inheriting historical culture, promoting public cultural services and study tour exchanges, and providing an important platform for Chinese and Latin American youth to gain an in-depth understanding of local history and culture and carry out study tour activities in this practice. Media Focus | Gaochun Ceramic Museum: The Millennium Kiln Fire Illuminates Rural Revitalization
Editor's Note: During their study tour and practice in China, the winning Chilean youth team of the 2025 Poverty Alleviation Challenge visited Gaochun in Jiangsu Province, toured the Gaochun Ceramic Museum and the "Ceramic Town", and carried out on-site learning on the historical inheritance and contemporary expression of Chinese ceramic culture. By closely understanding the cultural connotation of the "State Banquet Porcelain", ceramic making techniques, and the practical exploration of the integration of culture and tourism with study tour experience, they have an intuitive understanding of the practical path of China's excellent traditional culture in upholding integrity and fostering innovation, providing a vivid case for cultural study and exchange between Chinese and Latin American youth. This study tour aims to take youth exchanges as a link to promote cultural mutual learning between China and Latin America and the exchange of poverty alleviation experience, laying a foundation for mutual learning and cooperation between the two sides on development issues.
