2026 Poverty Alleviation Challenge | Mentor Meeting Officially Launched

Dear Participants and Teams,

The mentoring program (unified written review) for the 2026 Poverty Alleviation Challenge is now officially launched. As a key component of the competition evaluation, mentor scores and mentoring performance will serve as the primary criteria for advancement. All teams are requested to attach great importance and follow the procedures below in an orderly manner.

I. Mentor Appointment and Communication

The mentoring period is May 16 – May 31, 2026 (Beijing Time).

Each team shall select 3–5 prospective mentors whose expertise matches your project direction from Appendix I: Mentor Pool. Please complete Appendix II: Question List and Mentor Meeting Minutes and send it to the organizing committee email: thuchallenge2026@163.com.

Email subject: Question List + Project Name + Team Leader

After mutual confirmation of the time slot, the organizing committee will arrange a Tencent Meeting or Zoom meeting. Each team must complete 3 formal mentoring sessions.

Mentor quotas and available time slots are limited. Please submit materials and finalize appointments as soon as possible to avoid scheduling conflicts.

II. Document Submission Guidelines

Question List

- Submit the question list when selecting prospective mentors.

- For updates, resubmit 3–5 days before your next mentoring application.

Mentor Meeting Minutes

- Submit within 1 day after each mentoring session.

- Email subject: Mentor Meeting Minutes + Project Name + Team Leader + Mentor Name

III. Team Recorder

Each team must assign one fixed recorder to track and document the full mentoring process, including To-Do List compilation and meeting screenshot archiving. Outstanding recorders will be awarded the individual honor “Team Empowerment Star”.

IV. Scoring and Discipline

Written review results fall into three categories: Advanced / Pending / Not Advanced, based mainly on mentor scores and mentoring performance. Please take every mentoring session seriously.

To cancel an appointment, notify the organizing committee at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to report late cancellations may affect your eligibility.
