Covid-19: promoting reflections on China and the World

Source:       Time:2020.09.17

Abstract:At present, COVID-19 has become a common disaster all over the world. The disaster reflects our lack of understanding of the "unknown virus",truly shows the different emergency response attitudes and capabilities of governments of various countries, tests various and complicated international relations, and at the same time, lets us re-understand China and the world. We have rethought from four aspects: the cognition of the virus, the response of various countries to the epidemic, the international relations under the epidemic and where China should go in the future. Based on these four aspects, we believe that in the future, despite the complexity of the world situation, we should still have expectations and confidence for the road we are going to take and the direction of the world's development. On one hand, we should firmly follow the development path suitable for China, on the other hand, we should not only attach greater importance to the cooperative relations with friendly countries, strive to strengthen communication with the world to bridge the "institutional gap", but also firmly safeguard the legitimate right of the Chinese people to pursue happiness and development.
