Source:       Time:2015.10.20

Abstract:This paper illustrates the internal logic of the investment development path (IDP) by examining the three-way dynamic interaction between the ownership (O) advantages of domestic firms, the advantages of multinational enterprises (MNEs) and the location (L) advantages of countries. Based on the framework, China’ s IDP is systematically investigated, paying particular attention to the role of the Chinese government which has explicitly followed a FDI-assisted and government-assisted development path.
