Abstract:Chile has an internationally recognized good investment environment, but there are few Chinese enterprises directly investing in Chile. This paper analyzes the relative characteristics of Chile's investment environment from the perspective of Chinese enterprises and government from the national and industrial levels, It is pointed out that the complex differences between China and Chile, the advantages and disadvantages of Chile's location, the investment ability of Chinese enterprises and the identity of latecomers are the main factors influencing Chinese enterprises' investment in Chile
