Abstract:

Whether attracting foreign investment has played an effective role in promoting the formation of China's foreign investment ability is directly related to the success of China's "open" development strategy, which has important theoretical and practical significance. This paper takes "the impact of attracting foreign investment on foreign investment capacity" as the core of the problem, selects China and India as two big developing countries, and makes a preliminary test and analysis using national level data. The test results show that, on the whole, China's foreign capital inflow has no obvious direct effect on its foreign investment, while India's foreign capital inflow has a significant direct effect on its foreign investment.
