Program features:

The Tsinghua-INSEAD Dual Degree EMBA Programme (TIEMBA) is jointly launched by the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University and INSEAD. Being the first program of its kind combining international business education with a focus on Asia, the joint program targets a wide range of executives from many different countries, industries, academic and business backgrounds,especially for those from the Asia Pacific region.

 Dual degree: The program will be sanctioned by a dual degree granted on the basis of courses grading and thesis defense.

 Excellent & dedicated faculty:Our faculty is composed of a mix of western and eastern world's leading academics. They are not simply world experts in modern management technique s and entrepreneurial studies, but also expert at passing on their skills.

 International perspective: Each EMBA participant brings a unique culture, mindset and an international outlook. Each is eager to share best practices with people from other cultures and other industries.

Program overview:

The program takes place on a part-time modular basis over a period of22 months comprising 10 modules and one academic dissertation. The students are from truly diversified nationalities representing various industry sectors, IT/Telecommunications, financial services, consulting, manufacturing/industry, energy, public/nonprofit, consumer goods etc.On-campus sessions commence inSeptember, and the class size is about 40.

Since its launch in 2007, TIEMBA has a total over 550 students and alumni from 44countries, among whom Chinese students make up for 28%. The average age of the participants is 38 years old, average working experience is 14 years and female ratio is 26.7%.

Applications and Admissions

Applicants are expected to have a Bachelor's degree or above, a minimum of eight years' working experience, with a minimum of five years' managerial experience.
