Editor's Note: The "China-Latin America Youth Tackling Global Challenges – 2026 Poverty Alleviation Challenge" has attracted 675 young participants from 91 universities and institutions across China, Brazil, Chile, and Peru, forming a total of 120 competing teams. According to the competition schedule, this year's event is divided into regional preliminary rounds based on participating countries, selecting outstanding teams to advance to subsequent stages. On June 6, 2026 (Beijing time), the China (Tsinghua) regional preliminary round was held in the Jianhua Building at Tsinghua University. A total of 31 teams entered the offline presentation stage, competing for advancement through project presentations combined with online and offline evaluation.
