Exaltación Chumbes pointed out that Minera Las Bambas S.A. provided crucial funding, supplies, and systematic technical training support for the project, establishing a collaborative mechanism that enables the community to benefit in the long term. Professor Chen Taotao stated that this model vividly illustrates the concept of "teaching people to fish" and represents a successful practice of enterprises empowering communities and fostering endogenous development momentum.
Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the pathways for the sustainable development of communities in resource-dependent regions and the long-term benefits of corporate support. They agreed that by providing technical training and establishing sustainable community benefit-sharing mechanisms, Minera Las Bambas S.A. has effectively assisted residents in acquiring professional skills such as forestry production and laid an asset foundation for the community's long-term development. This collaborative model, centered on capacity building and benefit sharing, provides an important practical reference for resource-dependent regions exploring development pathways for the post-mining era.
