Prof. Chen Taotao, Director of Tsinghua University Latin America Center, had a meeting with Prof. José Augusto Fontoura, Associate Director of the Department of International Law at the Law School, Universidade de São Paulo (USP) on the morning of December 15, São Paulo time.
The meeting commenced with an exchange of information on the respective backgrounds of the two universities, followed by the expression of a shared desire to build a collaborative relationship. Prof. Chen elaborated on the initiatives of Tsinghua University in online education, the cultivation of students' global competence, the "Understanding China" course, as well as the potential activities to be organized in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of China-Brazil diplomatic relations next year. Prof. Fontoura showed keen interest in the aforementioned fields and pledged to relay this to the USP International Office. Additionally, he expressed his aspiration to engage in exchanges with professors from the School of Law, Tsinghua University.
