Prof. Chen Taotao, Director of Tsinghua University Latin America Center, had a meeting with Ms. Liu Wenqiu, a counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Chile, on the morning of November 29, according to Santiago time.

      Prof. Chen started by briefing on the summer overseas practice of four Tsinghua student teams in Chile and expressed gratitude for the support provided by the embassy. She then had a detailed discussion with Ms. Liu regarding Tsinghua University's international admissions process, recent visits by professors from the School of Life Sciences and School of Medicine at Tsinghua University, the upcoming visit of the student delegation from the School of Journalism and Communication to Chile in January next year to support the "China Day" event hosted by the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (UC Chile), and the invitation extended to Tsinghua professors to participate in the "Future Summit" in Chile next year.

     At the meeting, they were joined by Secretary Wang Yue from the Cultural Section of the Embassy, Secretary Zhu Chao from the Political Section, and Dr. Peng Ruimei, Assistant Director of the Latin America Center.
