Professor Ignacio Bartesaghi, Dean of Business School and Director of the Department of International Business and Integration at Universidad Católica del Uruguay (UCU), paid a visit to Tsinghua University on November 24, 2023. The visit was jointly hosted by the Latin America Center and the International Office of School of Economics and Management (SEM), Tsinghua University, where a meeting was held. The exchange involved the participation of Professor He Ping, Associate Dean of Tsinghua SEM, along with relevant teachers from the International Office.

     During the meeting, both parties had extensive discussions on various aspects including sharing English courses between the two business schools, short-term study abroad programs, online joint teaching, faculty and student exchanges and the course Exploring Latin America, exploring potential collaborations for the future. Professor He acknowledged that while there haven't been any exchange programs between Tsinghua SEM and universities in Uruguay, he expressed confidence in the mutual interest and anticipation for collaboration between the faculty and students of both schools, and is willing to embark on cooperative endeavors in various fields together with UCU.
