Abstract: From the perspective of a typical Latin American investor, this paper analyzes the phased characteristics and strategic choices of Spanish enterprises investing in Latin America, explores the changing features of Latin America’s locational advantages and investment environment, and discusses the experiences and lessons that Chinese enterprises, as latecomers to the Latin American market, should draw upon. Corresponding recommendations are also provided.
